What is “fields”?
fields is a digital system that allows the gathering of critical analyses of media discourses, produced by contributors from the scientific community. It makes these analyses readable and accessible to everyone, and offers various additioonal features.
fields consists of two complementary devices:
A plug-in
This plug-in gives users immediate access, as they browse a website, to the relevant analyses produced by fields contributors, at various levels of complexity, for those who can’t spend all day on it, as well as for those who want to take the time to immerse themselves in it.

A website
The fields website centralizes the analyses produced, as well as various resources made available by contributors.
It includes spaces for debate and mutual support, and is intended to take the form of a social network with additional functionalities, such as a search engine and access to customizable news feeds.

Fields as a community
Our aim is for fields to become a place of sharing, encounter and exchange between the contributors who feed the system with analysis and resources, and the users who take advantage of it: in their daily use of media spaces, to access reliable knowledge and content simply and immediately, to support a personal path of reflection, to engage in a community focused on knowledge and discovery, or for professional purposes.
The screenshots below illustrate a certain state of development of fields; the elements displayed are subject to change during future phases of testing and development.
